President Jioji Konrote

President Jioji Konrote has urged business owners and operators to continue to be open minded about how to navigate their organisations through this present age.

While speaking at 2018 Fiji Business Excellence Awards Konrote adds that businesses and organisations cannot operate in isolation adding that even the more established businesses are experiencing new and ever changing challenges that they did not encounter some 20 years ago.

He says that  we should all believe in ourselves that we can as a nation be on par with the highly productive and economically advanced nations of the world.

Konrote also highlighted that the event not only celebrates Fiji’s journey of Business Excellence but also commemorates the 20th year of the prestigious awards that has boosted productivity and quality in organisations in Fiji.

Konrote says Fiji’s GDP has doubled since 2006 and the economy is projected to post ten straight years of economic growth over the next two years.

Today a total of 255 organisations names have been listed in the Fiji Business Excellence Awards Hall of Fame.
