Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka will decide next week on whether they will break the coalition agreement with SODELPA as they have done enough damage in the running of an effective government.

Speaking to fijivillage News today, Rabuka made it clear that SODELPA has to obey what he says or they move out.

He says he has given enough time for SODELPA to work effectively in the coalition.

“It is urgent because we have nearly 2 years to repair the damage. The damage really in effectiveness of our running as a government because we are a coalition and there have been a lot of disruptions. They have to make the decision. They either stay with the coalition and obey what I ask them in the interest of the nation or they break away.”

Rabuka also says there have been a few complaints against the Education Minister and SODELPA Leader, Aseri Radrodro.

He is also concerned about SODELPA General Secretary, Viliame Takayawa’s comments about the Fiji Mission to Tonga allegedly partying and not doing things as expected.

“A few things. I have received a complaint from some civil servants from the Ministry of Education and recently the General Secretary had blown his top in criticising the mission we have in Tonga.”

We are currently trying to speak to Radrodro and Takayawa.
