Methodist Church clarifies reassignment of Lal Mohammed
The President of the Methodist Church of Fiji, Reverend Semisi Turagavou, has dismissed circulating claims on social media regarding the reassignment of Lal Mohammed.
In a statement, Reverend Turagavou says misleading information has been widely shared online, suggesting that Mohammed’s transfer was linked to issues arising from a church meeting in Fiji.
However, he clarified that Mohammed has been reassigned to oversee another division due to a continued decline in church membership within the Indian division, and not for any reasons related to recent meetings.
Reverend Turagavou stressed that the claims being circulated are false and urged members of the public not to be misled.
He also called on the people of Fiji, both locally and abroad, to remain prayerful and vigilant, cautioning against the spread of misinformation.
The Church President emphasized the importance of unity and truth, urging believers to stand firm in faith and not allow negativity to create division.
