The Kadavu Rugby Union has opened its gym and rugby house in Vunisea as preparations intensify for the upcoming Skipper Cup season.

President and Minister for Environment Lynda Tabuya says the new facility will serve as the union’s gym and office.

Tabuya says Kadavu is the only maritime rugby union to have its own gym and rugby house.

She thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports for providing the equipment and also acknowledged Poly Equipments for its sponsorship and support towards the union.

Tabuya also thanked the Vanua of Kadavu and supporters on the island for their continuous support
