Complaint lodged against FBC TV show

The Director for Human Rights and Anti‑Discrimination Commission Ashwin Raj confirms that some members of the public have lodged a complaint with them regarding a show aired by FBC TV.

Raj who is also the Chairman of Media Industry Development Authority says MIDA has also received a complaint in relation to this.

He says the two bodies will now look into the matter and an investigation will be carried out.

Meanwhile, Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says a report was lodged yesterday at the Totogo Police station by a concerned individual in relation to FBC TV program, Wasea Bhasha.

She says statements are being recorded as investigations continue.
