The younger brother of the late Tui Macuata, Ratu Wili Maivalili Katonivere has been traditionally informed on the passing away of Ratu Aisea Katonivere.
He arrived in the village of Naduri yesterday where the traditional leaders made the formalities.
According to Ratu Osea from the Tokatoka Namara, the Bose Vanua is expected tomorrow which will be chaired by Kingmaker of the Tui Macuata the i Taukei Namara Ratu Peni Sogia.
He said the meeting will include the chiefly families to decide on the funeral arrangements.
He also said that the women of Naduri have also met and set out rules to be followed by all the women.
He said starting from tomorrow, women will wear black with no jewelries and loud noises in the village are not allowed.
The late Tui Macuata, Ratu Aisea Katonivere’s body was found on Friday in the Macuata waters after their boat capsized on Thursday night.
The chiefly household has confirmed that his body is at the Labasa hospital mortuary.
