Former Saint Joseph’s Secondary School sprint queen Heleina Young has been named to make her long-waited Super W debut for the Queensland Reds against the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua on Sunday.
Young who was initially named in the Reds extended squad last year and this year has now been given the chance to prove herself in the big stage and to make it even more special is that she will be coming up against her fellow country-women.
Reds’ Head Coach Simon Craig says they will need to be at their best for the full 80-minutes as the Fijiana Drua play an exciting brand of Rugby.
The Fijiana Drua will play the Reds at 3.05pm Sunday.
In other Super W matches this week, the Rebels take on the Waratahs at 7.05pm tonight and the Western Force will host the Brumbies at 7.05pm tomorrow.
