Acting Fiji Water Flying Fijians and Fiji Warriors coach Senirusi Seruvakula says the incoming coach is running out of time.
This was after fijivillage News asked him if he knew when the new Flying Fijians coach is going to be named.
Seruvakula says they do not have time on their side.
With 78 days to go till the Barbarians game in Twickenham on June 22nd, Seruvakula says the incoming coach will have a lot of problems as that game is not in the July test window.
He says the All Blacks game will not be a problem as it is during the July test window.
The Acting Flying Fijians coach adds that the incoming coach will need to have confidence in local players because they all have to go through the system.
He says all the Fiji Warriors players are available for selection as they head to Samoa to prove themselves in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge against Tonga, Samoa and Japan next week.
He says as the acting Flying Fijians coach he has been monitoring our Fijian players playing in other parts of the world and keeping track of their performances.
Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach, Mick Byrne and Seruvakula have been interviewed for the job.
fijivillage understands that World Rugby is also involved in choosing the coach after an assessment on their coaching background and other related issues with their coaching career.
