Former Flying Fijian flanker Peceli Yato and former All Blacks loose forward Peter Sowakula were in devastating form scoring a try each for their Clermont team as they thrashed Ulster 53-14 in the Challenge Cup.
The man from Waicoba Nadroga created havoc in the first half as he evaded several challenges from short range and dotted down to score the first try for Clermont.
Sowakula who helped set up a try for Yato finished off an incisive move with a try of his own.
Clermont thumped Ulster at the Stade Marcel-Michelin Stadium.
The Duos combination has raised eyebrows about their availability 9 weeks before the Flying Fijians take on the Barbarians in Twickenham on June 22nd, and then the All Blacks in San Diego on July 20th.
Sowakula will be available to play for Fiji in 2026 if he wants to represent the country.
Clermont will take on the South African side the Sharks in their next game in London.
