Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians backrower Peceli Yato played an instrumental role for his Clermont side scoring a try in their 46-14 win over Bayonne in the Top 14 competition this morning.
Yato started at flanker making 13 carries and 2 clean line breaks during the game.
Fellow Fijian teammate and former France winger Alivereti Raka scored a double in the win with former Chiefs and All Blacks number 8 Pita Gus Sowakula coming off the bench for Clermont in his Top 14 debut in the 62nd minute.
Flying Fijians utility back Sireli Maqala made an early appearance to the game for Bayonne coming into the match just 28 minutes into the game.
Other top 14 games that were played this morning, Oyonnax beat La Rochelle 19-17, Stade Francaise beat Castre 39-16, Bordeaux overcame Montpellier 26-13, Perpignan beat Toulon 25-22 and Racing 92 edged Lyon 22-20.
