Yat Sen Secondary School is going into this year’s Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball National Championship with a lot of humility and respect for other teams even though they are the defending champions of the under-17 and under-19 boys divisions.

Team manager Visenia Khan says they are not feeling any pressure at all right now and all they are focused on is the task ahead of them this week and that is to just go out and play.

Khan says they are also preparing well for the weather that they will encounter in the Western division, but other than that, everything is well underway with the team.

Yat Sen Secondary School will be fielding 6 teams this year and that includes the U15, U17 and U19 in the girls division and U15, U17 and U19 in the boys division.

The Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball National Championship will be held from this Thursday to Saturday at the Lautoka Multipurpose Courts.
