Demonstrating a strong sense of community spirit, the community of Noco in Rewa turned up in numbers to be part of the community clean-up campaign organised by a team of Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) volunteers, led by Joana Tabua, Wilson Hazelman, and Jeshlyn Vilash.
The team organized a community clean-up, painted the hall, and distributed storybooks to local children.
According to Tabua, the entire village, including young children, actively participated in the project, demonstrating a strong sense of community spirit.
She says the revitalized hall, which serves three villages and doubles as an evacuation centre, will now provide a cleaner, safer, and more inspiring space for the community.
