Xavier College beats Sabeto College 1-0 in Fiji Secondary Schools Football IDC girls open grade

Defending champions, Xavier College beat Sabeto College 1-0 in the Digicel Fiji Secondary Schools Football IDC girls open grade.

Lavenia Nairoqo scored the winning goal in the first half.

Nairoqo who is a Ba Women’s team rep also scored three goals as Xavier beat All Saints Secondary School 3-0 in an earlier match.

In other matches, the match between All Saints Secondary School and Vashist Muni College ended in a 2-all draw, Vunimoli Islamia beat Tavua College 1-0, Nadroga Arya College beat Tavua College 1-0, Vunimono High School defeated Vunimoli Islamia College 2-0 and Vashist Muni College drew with Sabeto College nil all while Vunimono beat Nadroga Arya 1-0.

Meanwhile, in the Under 17 boys grade, Xavier College beat Korovuto College 2-1 while the match between Bulileka College and Vunimono finished nil-all.

In the Under 15 boys grade, the match between Xavier and Vashist Muni finished nil all while Tilak High School beat Labasa College 1-0.
