The World Rugby 7s Series returns to France after a lapse of 2-years due to the COVID-19 pandemic tomorrow.
Fiji missed out in the Spain leg early this year due to an outbreak of COVID within the camp while New Zealand and Samoa did not compete in the Dubai and Spain tournaments.
Fiji came back in style claiming victory at the Singapore 7s but finished in second place at the Vancouver 7s.
They are currently in 6th place in the men’s standings while South Africa leads with 111 points, followed closely by Argentina with 105 points and Australia is in third spot with 100 points.
Fiji’s first pool match at the Toulouse 7s is against Kenya at 12.34am Saturday, they take on Wales at 8.33am Saturday and then play France at 12.34am Sunday.
The men’s quarterfinals will start at 4.04am Sunday, the semifinals will begin at 12.14am next Monday and the final will be played at 4.26am on the same day.
