The work continues for the Fiji Men’s 7s team as they aim to retain their Olympic Games title for the third consecutive time.
The team had their training session in a wet condition in Libourne, France, in preparation for the start of the competition at the end of this month.
Fiji is the only team that has ever won gold since the 7s rugby game was included in the Olympic Games set up in 2016.
In the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Ben Ryan-coached side took the Stadium by storm as they went on a rampage from the start to the finish.
They demolished Great Britain 43-7 in the final.
In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Gareth Baber side gave the country something to celebrate about, even though the country was reeling from the impact of COVID-19.
Fiji is in a tough pool with host France, USA and Uruguay.
The Men’s Olympic 7s competition will be held from the 25th to the 28th of this month.
