Women of Navuavua Village in Ra receives new kitchen equipment

Women of Navuavua Village, Ra received new kitchen equipment from Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Eradication Veena Bhatnagar as her ministry works hard to boost the socioeconomic empowerment of all Fijian women.

They received a new sewing machine, kitchen and cooking equipment, folding tables and chairs, which will assist their income‑generating projects.

Bhatnagar says in all their economic programs they are reaching out to all women, be it in the maritime, interior or urban areas.
