Students of International School Suva perform for the staff and children of St. Christopher’s home

Students of International School Suva put together a performance for the staff and children of St. Christopher’s home yesterday.

The production titled “Welcome to Wonderland” was directed by Year 12 students Aya Murray and Nicole Karountzos.

Murray says 80 students were part of the cast and crew that helped put together the show for the children at St. Christopher’s home.

She says that students from Year 2 to Year 12, teachers and mentors had worked together on rehearsals, creating of back drops, costumes, makeup, sound and lighting as well as audio and special effects for the last 18 weeks.

Murray says the only challenge was getting students to commit to the rehearsal schedule.

Faculty staff and mentor, Jennifer Liu says they are amazed with the creativity students have and continue to display.

Liu says parents should expect to be amazed by the level of talent and creativity that will be displayed.

The “Welcome to Wonderland” production will be featured at International School Suva at 6.30pm today.

The tickets for the show are being sold at International School Suva and it is $7 dollars for adults and $4 for children.
