We would love to make it to the final for the first time but it’s one match at a time and at this stage, we need to keep our feet on the ground.
These were the words of the Digicel Bula Boys coach, Rob Sherman while talking to the media as they prepare to face Vanuatu in the OFC Men’s Nations Cup semi final on Thursday.
The coach says he is happy with players performance as Fiji has been the highest scoring team in the tournament and they need to utilise opportunities when in field.
He also confirms there are no major injuries in the team.
Sherman adds that they also want to improve their world ranking as Fiji is ranked 166th.
Fiji will face Vanuatu at 4pm on Thursday at the Freshwater Stadium in Port Vila.
In another semi final, New Zealand takes on Tahiti at 12pm Thursday.
The final will be held at the same venue at 4pm Sunday.
