National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad has stressed that they have committed to cut the pay and allowances of government ministers by 25% until a proper exercise is done to work out fair and reasonable remuneration.
Prasad highlighted this while announcing the party’s 51 provisional candidates for the general elections.
He says they will do this when they form government.
Prasad says it is time to return to real team leadership in government and for people to have a group of people with skills and real-life experience who will serve.
Prasad says they have thoroughly scrutinized all provisional candidates that they announced since February. He says some have withdrawn for personal reasons and other commitments however, they remain loyal members of NFP.
