The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua knows what the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific playoffs are all about and they are geared up for this weekend’s quarter final clash against the Blues.
Coach Mick Byrne says they were in the quarter finals last year and they know there will be a big step up in intensity.
Byrne says their week of training does not change either than getting a lot of energy around to what needs to be done.
He says they are coming off a good victory against the Melbourne Rebels last week and they are ready for the Blues this weekend.
Captain Ratu Meli Derenalagi says they know what it feels like playing in the quarter finals and their main focus this week is to try and not only get a quarter final win but also get their first-ever away game victory since 2022.
The Drua will take on the Blues at 7.05pm on Saturday at Eden Park in Auckland.
In other quarter finals this weekend, the Chiefs will play the Reds at 7.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Highlanders at 9.35pm Saturday.
