Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says throughout their training sessions they introduced periods of competition where they played in almost an Olympic like format.
Baber says it is a hard prospect, normally they would have had competition such as World Rugby Sevens Series to play in, where they can measure each other against the rest of the world.
He adds they have improvised and have done that internally and he thinks the biggest thing for them now is just to give the players an opportunity to play against Australia and New Zealand.
The Fiji 7s teams are currently in quarantine in Australia and will participate in the Oceania 7s tournament from the 25th of this month.
