Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s coach Mosese Rauluni says they have some very good combinations in their forward pack but they are still working on their backline.
Rauluni says a lot of their forwards have played together before especially with locks Asinate Serevi and Jade Coates.
He says they only wanted Asinate to play 50 minutes over the weekend and she got through that section really well, although they were worried when she went down but luckily it was just her contact lenses.
The former Flying Fijian says Asinate performed really well for someone who has not played for a while and has earned her way into the squad by training very hard.
He says they have also got good impact players to come on off the bench to do what Serevi and Coates do and their combinations are working really well.
Rauluni says they will be mixing up their backline a bit this weekend to see how their depth is.
The Fijian Drua Women will play the ACT Brumbies Women at 6.05pm Saturday.
