The US Ambassador to Fiji Joseph Cella says the embassy has resources that any woman can use at any time which will help increase their entrepreneurial training.
Speaking at the third round of Fiji Forward Series, Cella says they want to help Fijian women maneuver the challenging business landscape in the wake of COVID-19.
He says women have endured through a lot and are examples to the society.
Cella says the program was designed to assist the whole of Fiji and also how the embassy can help the leaders from all the sectors restart the economy.
Today's Fiji Forward Workshop welcomed 50 women to discuss entrepreneurial opportunities.
Meanwhile a local businesswoman Api Kurusiga says there is a need for women to be coached to become entrepreneurs as they are already skilled in things like weaving and sewing.
Kurusiga says these coaching sessions take the women to the next level of business
She owns and runs Lapita Marketing enterprise which sells honey, virgin coconut oil, noni juice, powder ginger and fresh pineapples.
