Only 3 times we have been able to have a training session on a Monday, Tuesday, recovery on Wednesday come out and do execution and train at game pace on Thursday and we have won all 3 games this year.
Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head coach Mick Byrne stated this adding they have got themselves in a great place, great execution, and they will be right to go when they take on the Auckland Blues in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific culture round tomorrow.
Byrne says it would be good if he could claim using the heat as a strategy but he says that the Blues will be ready for it adding he heard that Leon MacDonald said that they have been training in some heat conditions.
Blues Head coach Leon MacDonald says it is no secret the Drua are a tough prospect at home adding they have tweaked a few things at training this week, including some ‘heat’ fitness sessions to simulate the conditions.
The Drua play the Blues at 2.05pm tomorrow at Churchill Park.
You can get your tickets at any Jacks of Fiji outlet, Lautoka City Council and selected Shop N Save Supermarkets.
In other games this weekend, the Hurricane host the Brumbies tonight at 7.05, the Waratahs play the Highlanders at 9.35pm and on tomorrow Moana Pasifika face the Rebels at 4.35pm, the top of the table Chiefs host the Crusaders at 7.05 and then the Reds play the Force at 9.35pm.
