We have built but we understand that we still have a long way to go and we will start to refine our team and our techniques moving forward as we get closer to the Rugby World Cup.
These were the words of Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Simon Raiwalui as he spoke about the performance of the players in their preparation for the Rugby World Cup.
Raiwalui says the team has been good in patches and they have played well with their fitness coming a long way but they still have to work on playing 80 minutes of rugby.
He says they have pushed the players to the limits physically during the Pacific Battle series campaign and never once did the players complain.
Raiwalui adds they are happy that they have achieved what they had set out to achieve when they first started this year.
The Flying Fijians will leave for Europe this week for their final two test matches against France and England before the RWC kicks off next month.
The Flying Fijians will play France in Nantes at 7.05am next Sunday before heading to Twickenham Stadium to play England on the 27th of this month.
