We don’t have time to be sitting back and looking at all the glory days that we have had and keep holding onto them for a while.
These were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne as they turn their focus to another huge challenge ahead of them this weekend against the Waratahs.
Byrne says sometimes it is easy for the boys to move on from their poor performances but it is hard to move on from a big win, especially against big teams in the competition.
He adds this is a learning curve for them and they will be looking to reset their focus this week and get positive results after the game on Saturday.
The Fijian Drua will play the Waratahs in round 13 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific at 9.35pm in Sydney. In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will host the Crusaders at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm Friday, the Highlanders will take on the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday while the Force will take on the Brumbies at 12am Sunday.
