Minister for Education, Premila Kumar says they do expect to find cases of COVID-19 in a school environment and it is nothing unusual.
Kumar says they have seen around the world that when schools re-opened, classrooms had to be shut down due to new cases of the virus.
She says the best part is when the school managements know how to handle the situation and that is where training has been provided to them.
Kumar says she knows there were suspected cases of COVID-19 at Ratu Navula College where two students were put into isolation.
She adds the classrooms had to be decontaminated and that will also be a regular story.
