Team Fiji Men’s 7s captain Jerry Tuwai says they have a big task ahead and their focus right now is on Argentina.
Tuwai says we are suffering a lot with the pandemic right now and that's what matters to us, we are playing for God and we are trying to bring happiness to our country.
Tuwai has the chance to become the first Fijian and rugby player to win back to back Olympic Gold medals in rugby.
Fiji earned two hard fought victories against Canada and Japan, and went onto overpower Great Britain in the final pool game which also saw a much better defensive effort from the team.
In the quarter-final against Australia, it was captain Jerry Tuwai who stole the show with two breathtaking tries to lead Fiji to a 19-0 victory.
Fiji now faces a determined Argentina side who beat South Africa 19-14.
Argentina’s win was also remarkable because they played majority of the match with just 6 players after Gastón Revol was red carded.
Fiji will play Argentina at 2.30pm today.
New Zealand will play Great Britain at 2pm in the first semi-final.
The final will be played at 9 tonight.
