Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School Coach, Waliki Satakala says they are super elated to win the girls division title of the Coca Cola Games for the second year.
Satakala says the common goal last year was to win but what brought them together this year was how the team bonded together.
He says the victory is sweet, and he thanks the school board, the parents, and the teachers for their efforts.
The coach says the school board went around trying to make all this happen.
Satakala says the meals and merchandise is not from outside but from within the school.
He says the Royals Athletics Club run by Antonio Raboiliku has made a huge contribution to the MGM team.
Satakala also thanked the caretakers who start at 4am and end at 9pm.
He also thanked physiotherapist, Isaiah Elder for looking after the athletes.
