We are looking to execute our game plan for the full 90 minutes since there have been times when this was not done and the team will need to improve on this.
Digicel Bula Boys coach, Rob Sherman, highlighted this when fijivillage News asked him what areas they would like to improve as they prepare to face Vanuatu in the OFC Men’s Nations Cup semi final tomorrow.
The coach says the last game against Tahiti was an example where the first half could have been better as they completely dominated the second half.
When asked how captain Roy Krishna’s skills have benefited the team, Sherman says he is a true captain, his leadership is excellent and he plays quality football.
He says Krishna teaches players what it takes to be a professional player.
Fiji will face Vanuatu at 4pm tomorrow at the Freshwater Stadium in Port Vila.
In another semi final tomorrow, New Zealand takes on Tahiti at 12pm.
The final will be held at the same venue at 4pm Sunday.
