As the All Blacks prepare to take on the Springboks in their Rugby World Cup final match, captain Sam Cane says in terms of the head and strategy, they are in a really good place and with that comes confidence.
He says their mindset is that they are going to have to put out the best performance they have all year and if they do that, they will give themselves a good shot.
Cane says there will certainly be a high level of intent and emotion to start the game but there always is.
He says they have played two knockouts in a row – effectively more – so he trusts they are in a good spot there.
Cane adds the boys have done a lot of physical and mental preparation and although it’s a final, it’s another game where they have to trust themselves.
The All Blacks take on the Springboks at 7am tomorrow.
