The Fiji Football Association says they are also manually checking vaccination cards and photo IDs of the fans coming into the grounds for the Digicel Premier League apart from using the vax-check tool.
CEO, Mohammed Yusuf says they would be able to establish whether someone is fully vaccinated or not by manually checking the vaccination cards and photo IDs.
He clarified this after some fans raised the issue that the vax-check tool was not being used at Churchill Park and the ANZ Stadium last weekend.
He says 15 people were found using other people’s vaccination cards during a match in Lautoka and these people were caught when their ID cards were checked.
When questioned whether the Fiji FA has stopped using the vax-check tool, Yusuf says it is still being used but they are also manually checking the vax cards and photo IDs.
