Police White rep Watisoni Sevutia who assaulted a Raiwasa Taveuni player in the quarterfinal of the Nawaka 7s has been removed from the team

Police White rep Watisoni Sevutia who assaulted a Raiwasa Taveuni player in the quarterfinal of the Nawaka 7s has been removed from the team and will go through the Fiji Police Force tribunal process.

Sevutia and Mesake Varo were red-carded in the match while four others were shown yellow cards.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu confirms the other players who were involved in the incident have been given warning letters.

Tudravu says he met with the team yesterday and has spoken to them regarding their conduct.

He adds he will meet the management of Raiwasa Taveuni tomorrow to discuss about the incident.

He has suspended Police White from the next leg of the Super 7s Series.
