Water levels in Tavua Town have started to recede as rain has calmed down in the past few hours but restriction on movement continues.
This has been confirmed to fijivillage News by Police who are working on the ground in Tavua.
They say, however, Tavua Levu village is still flooded and they are monitoring the movements in that area and the water level.
Toge, Tavua Advisory Councilors Jagdish Kumar says Toge Bridge and Balevuto River are flooded.
Police have also confirmed that movements in Ba and Rakiraki Towns have been restricted as well for tonight.
