Water disruptions in Lautoka

Water disruptions in Lautoka

By Vilisi Nawaqatabu
Saturday 05/10/2019

Thousands of residents living in Lautoka in areas like Saru, Natabua Housing, Fiji National University Natabua Campus, Wairabetia Road, Viseisei Back Road, Lauwaki Feeder Road, Field 40 Road and Subdivision will be affected by an unplanned low water pressure to intermittent supply.

The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that the disruption is due to the reduction of water levels at the Saru Water Treatment Plant, as well as a burst main along Field 40 tramline road.

WAF says that their crew members are currently working to repair the leakage.
