The Water Authority of Fiji is yet to confirm when water supply will normalise for thousands of Fijians living along the Suva to Nausori corridor who woke up to water disruptions this morning.
The Authority says their ground teams are working to repair a burst main identified at the inlet of the Wainibuku Reservoir which is causing reduction of treated water levels.
They are currently arranging for water carting trucks to supply water to the affected areas.
Affected areas include, Valelevu, Caqiri, Nawanawa, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal Road, Vesivesi Road, Yasiyasi Road, Makoi, Nepani, Nadawa, Ratu Dovi Road, Dibulu, Lokia, Davuilevu Housing, Nakasi, Koronivia, Central Christain Centre, Tovata, Kalabu, Nasinu, Kaliveitau, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East, Cunningham, Khalsa Road, Vasant Lal, Bryce, Tulele, Kaloa, Lower Caubati, Kinoya, Caubati, Manohan Building, RB Center Point, Laucala Beach, Nokonoko, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vesivesi, Vatuwaqa, Fletcher Street, Mukta Ben, Raiwai Raiwaqa, Allaydice, Domain, Upper Sukuna Rd, Barret Place, Mcgregor Road, Knolly Street, Ratu Sukuna Road, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Muanikau Road, Laucala Bay Road, Bau Road, McGregor Road, Domain Road, Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese, Wrong Turn, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights, Nagatugatu Residents next to Reservoir, Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg Avenue, Deovji Street, Tacirua , Amputch Street, Princes Rd, Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement, Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princes Rd, Marshall Rd, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri and Nillgiri.
