The Water Authority of Fiji is installing air valves in its water mains in Waila, Nausori.
The Authority says water supply in the area is expected to normalise in the next hour.
A resident of Waila who had raised concerns about frequent water cuts again contacted us today saying they are still facing the same issue.
However, the Authority says installing air valves will release the airlocks and will provide a better supply of water.
The Water Authority of Fiji says it was a planned shutdown and a notice was given.
