Dallas Mavericks forward PJ Washington showed his class by scoring 27 points to help his side secure a 105-101 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder today and take a 2-1 series lead in the NBA conference semi finals.
The 25-year-old made 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 40 minutes.
Other point scorers for the Mavericks include Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić who both scored 22 points each, Dereck Lively II with 12 points, Daniel Gafford and Tim Hardaway Jr who both scored 8 points each and Josh Green and Derrick Jones Jnr who scored 3 points each.
The Mavericks took out the first quarter 26-23 before the Thunder scooped the second quarter 29-25.
The Mavericks came back and clinched the 3rd quarter 31-26 before holding the Thunder to a 26-all in the final quarter.
In another conference semi final played today, the Boston Celtics claimed a 106-93 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers to take a 2-1 series lead.
