Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne says the NSW Waratahs have got some physical players right across the park and the Drua will be looking at matching them in that area.
Byrne says the Waratahs also have a lot of quality finishers out wide which they will need to counter as well.
He says when they met earlier in round 2 there were some stages in the game where the Drua’s physicality stood out and they were able to match the Waratahs in certain areas, especially in the mid-field.
He says the Waratahs took advantage when they were reduced to 13 players later in that game which affected the outcome of the final result.
Byrne says they will make sure to work on their discipline this time around and have 15 players on the field throughout the game.
The Drua will play the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday in round 13 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
In other games this week, Moana Pasifika will meet the Crusaders at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm tomorrow, the Highlanders will face the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Force will take on the Brumbies at 12am Sunday.
