War veterans and family members gathered in large numbers at the National War Memorial site in Veiuto, Suva today to remember fallen troops and those who lost their lives during times of conflict.
A minute of silence was followed by the laying of wreaths in solemn ceremony led by President Jioji Konrote, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama followed by members of the disciplined forces and the diplomatic Corp.
It was an emotional occasion for some as they lost their loved ones in the line of duty.
Meanwhile, senior members of the Fiji Military Force, the Police, Navy, Fiji Corrections Service and military attachés from other countries in Fiji took part in the Remembrance Day Dawn Service at Reservoir Road.
