Isaia Walker-Leawere will be playing his 50th game for the Hurricanes when they take on the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match this Saturday.
Walker-Leawere, whose father captained Fiji at the Rugby World Cup in 2007, is relishing the opportunity to play this milestone match in front of his family and friends in Fiji.
He says it is pretty buzzy how it’s come full circle and he gets to play in front of his family, many of whom he does not really get to see very often.
In the backs, Fijian-born Kini Naholo will make a start on the wing, with Salesi Rayasi looking to provide impact off the bench.
Rayasi, whose father is former Fiji international Filipe Rayasi, will be returning to Fiji for the first time since he was 10 months old.
The Drua play the Hurricanes at 2.05pm tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium.
In other games this weekend, the Highlanders play the Chiefs at 7.05 tonight while the Crusaders host the Force at 4.35pm tomorrow, the Blues face Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Reds host the Waratahs at 9.35pm tomorrow while the Rebels play the Brumbies at 4.35pm Sunday.
