Wales coach Warren Gatland believes Australia’s four changes for their pivotal Pool D game shows how much respect his side have earned on the international stage.
While Gatland, whose side beat Georgia 43‑14 in their opener, has named an unchanged starting 15, his Australian counterpart Michael Cheika has re-shaped his line‑up, with only one change enforced.
Cheika has recalled the experienced pair of Will Genia at scrum‑half and Bernard Foley at fly‑half as they look to counter the threat posed by Wales ‑ and especially the boot of their fly‑half Dan Biggar.
Wales takes on Australia at 7.45pm tomorrow in their second pool game of the Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile in today’s matches Argentina play Tonga at 4.45pm, Ireland take on Japan at 7.15pm while South Africa play Namibia at 9.45pm.
