Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Lynda Tabuya says the late Joshko Wakaniyasi was a true champion for all.
In a Facebook post, Tabuya says she just held Wakaniyasi’s hands a few weeks ago at the Pacific Disability Office as they planned to do great things together.
She says what struck her most was his heart, which was so pure and in the absolute right place.
The Minister says nothing could be hidden or sugarcoated to him.
Wakaniyasi will be laid to rest this Saturday.
Should you wish to pay your last respects, please get in touch with the Pacific Disability Forum for details.
More details on the funeral will be released later.
