Waidradra River in Shrinagar Road, Navua has burst its bank as it continues to rain heavily in the area since morning.
A resident, Sanam Prasad says there are 16 houses in the area and they are not very far away from the river.
Prasad says people are currently tying their houses and are moving their livestock to a safer location.
She says all children in the area did not go to school today due to heavy rain last night which led to the flooding of Waidradra River.
We have contacted Police and they are on their way to check the area.
