WOWS Kids Fiji are having a FUN Walk and Zumba tomorrow morning to kick start their National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

WOWS Kids Fiji Team Leader, Mere Williams says in August, every year, they engage with various groups in the community including business houses to raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of childhood cancer and the work they do at WOWS for their patients and families.

Williams says the last time they had the FUN Walk was in 2019 before COVID-19.

The Team Leader says it is wonderful to be able to do this FUN Walk again now, post-COVID as it allows for families to bring their children, dressed-up in their favourite character costumes and mingle with some of their cancer survivors who will be there too with their families.

Williams adds it is a FUN Walk consisting of 3 laps of Albert Park and finishing off with Zumba with Litiana Miller.
