WAF to keep refilling water tanks along the Nausori and Rewa Delta for affected customers

Water Authority of Fiji will keep refilling the 100 water tanks along the Nausori, Dilkusha, Tailevu South and the Rewa Delta areas so that people do not face issues.

The planned water shutdown at the Waila Water Treatment Plant is affecting 50,000 people.

30 water carting trucks will refill these tanks until water supply normalises.

Water supply is expected to normalize from 6am tomorrow.

People living in the affected areas have been experiencing water disruption since 6am this morning.
