The Water Authority of Fiji has improved the inflow of water into the Tamavua Treatment Plant to 60 million litres per day after their team successfully completed critical repairs at Headworks 3 in Savura during the early hours of this morning.

WAF says the previous inflow of water was at 54 million litres per day.

They say they are cautiously targeting a full return to normal flow levels within the next 24 to 48 hours, with continued monitoring of water clarity and conditions permitting.

The Authority says their team are working hard to restore clean and safe water for all.
