While responding to questions about continuous water supply issues in Tacirua, Sakoca and Khalsa, Rakuka says they are trying to use the Viria intake to service Tamavua Heights and other areas.
The Prime Minister says the other issue is water leakage, as old pipes are very easily damaged and are probably past their use-by date anyway.
He says they have to remove the major pipelines that supply the major areas of the Suva municipality and corridors to the Navua and Nausori.
Rabuka says it is not something they will lay and forget.
