Fiji-born Suliasi Vunivalu has re-signed with the Queensland Reds through to 2025.
The 27-year-old winger has scored 15 tries in 26 games for the Reds after making his debut in 15s rugby in 2021.
The former Melbourne Storm star played his sole Test for the Wallabies in 2022 and was a part of Eddie Jones’ first camp squad in April this year ahead of the World Cup in France.
Vunivalu is expected to play a key role this week when the Reds take on the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua to claim a spot in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific quarterfinals.
The Reds are currently sitting in 7th place in the points table with 24 points, while the Drua is in 10th place with 21 points.
The Drua will host the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
In other matches, the Blues will take on the Highlanders at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Brumbies will meet the Rebels at 9.35pm tomorrow, the Hurricanes host the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday, the Waratahs play Moana Pasifika at 9.35pm Saturday and the Western Force host the Chiefs at 12pm Sunday.
