Vodafone Fiji Limited has reached yet another milestone after being awarded Fiji’s fastest mobile network by Ookla.

Chief Marketing Officer Rajnesh Prasad says Ookla, a global leader in broadband speed testing has awarded Vodafone as Fiji’s fastest mobile network, Fiji’s fastest 4G network and Fiji’s fastest internet provider.

This has been confirmed by Ookla.

Prasad says Ookla rating is based on thousands of recent cellular test results from Ookal’s popular speedtest.net app on both iOS and Android platforms.

He says in 2012, Vodafone undertook a complete network transformation project that completely replaced the old network infrastructure with a new IP network.

He adds over the last 18 months they have invested in excess of $110 million to launch and expand its mobile network.
